The Orbital Habitat Body of Knowledge (BoK)
The Orbital Habitat Body of Knowledge consists of an ordered heirarchy of topics below which is contained the accumulated knowledge for each item.
Think of the BoK structure as a kind of Dewey Decimal System for Orbital Habitat topics (or perhaps a numerical Linnaean System of Classification). In any event,
in an attempt to impose some kind of order on a very complex and interwoven topic, the categories below have been selected to define the subject.
Many Orbital Habitat concepts will cover multiple topics - references to other categories provide a cross indexing mechanism. The
classification system is expected to be refined over time and it may happen that information is moved around.
The category headings as very general and proceed to get more specific further down the list. Each item can be clicked on to read
the content. The content of the major headings is typically just a brief description of the category and a list of suitability
criteria for the inclusion of sub-categories and data. The Data Entries below the categories contain the specific details.
