(2.11-003) The Oven Effect for Biome Fires
If there is a fire in a biome will there be an oven effect?
In terrestrial environments heat can effectively radiate away into the much larger atmosphere. In a closed biome heat could be retained and the temperature increased as long as there is oxygen to feed the fire.
This has important considerations regarding the insulation of the compartments surrounding the biome and the pipework, wiring and other infrastructure within it.
