Yes. But what is behind the word "most". People have lived as much
as 120 years since recorded history. Few cases, but existed.
I think, there is just a statistical illusion in here. Today
the "average" life span is longer, which means more people reach
longer lives. Before perhaps was 1 in 50, today is 1 in 3. However,
that does not mean humans can't live more than the ages the body
is "design" to resist.

Look at Subsaharian Africa, for example. There lifespan has
shortened to 40 these days. However, you can still see pretty old
people down there once in a while.

Defeating death is like defeating entrophy. Perhaps like the
illusion of the perpetual motion machine.

appearantly there is a difference of understanding of what lifespan
is. the potential human life span is apparantly 1400 years because
thats what they bible claimed one of them lived. on the other hand
the average lifespan for the majority of human existance has been
less than 40 years.
