So, let's save earth don't go away.

But finally, who need feminists? There are still billions of
intelligent, capable and couragious women in the planet who wish to
start a new challenge.

By the way, I believe "deep ecologists" is the most dangerous group
which is against of space colonization. There is a branch of those
loonies who are called the "ecofeminists". So, no wonder they think
like that.

All is writen in the book "Deep ecology" by George Seasson. In the
same book they say space settlers are "New Agers" who are agaisnt
space exploration instead of the preservation of earth. Finally they
want to preserve the planet but get rid of people.

Let's be aware of that.

Make these nuts more visable. That should motivate people to want to
leave this planet. They certainly help that desire in me.

I suppose when men build the first habitats in space and move their
families up to them it can be seen as a man made Rapture. A Rapture
for people of all faiths to start over among the heavens.

He's very concerned about a virus killing us all off and I don't blame him.

The thing is we need more than one location in space -- not just earth.

The most profitable, or economically viable, way to do this is to build in
space using materials from asteroids and dormant comets, not on any gravity
rich rock such as Mars or the moon.

For example, for making our own space suits we've got to have Gold. It
would take forever to find Gold on Mars or in a moon crater, but it's
plentiful on the surfaces of many near asteroids.

You can't stick two meters of regolith between your fingers. It just
doesn't work.

Asteroid processing would pay for itself -- quickly.

Moon and Mars mining are just a waste of time and resources.

Yes, we can build the agricultural and manufacturing facilities and
settlements and a great tourist stop with many add-ons for recreation,
amusement, and dining.

With multiple product options and industry connections, I'm sure it'll work.

The earth-moon L5 LaGrange point could very well be the next center of
civilization.
