This a very, very insightful essay that should be read again and again about the sorry state of education, culture, and individual initiative. Lots of people do not know what to do with themselves any more

it is going to get worse - people no longer dare to dream and work
to make it happen - the vast majority are quite willing to have
irrelevant lives as long as they have the necessities of life (
FOOD - couch - entertainment center with 1000 channels ( mostly the
same junk )) the human race needs a big jolt to smarten up a little.
