I thought the folks on these maillists might be interested to know that
I edited together and uploaded to YouTube a little promo for "L5: First
City in Space". I've always felt motivated to help promote this movie
because I think it serves as a better introduction to the concepts of
Gerard O'Neill than anything else in the mass-media. Have a look and
let me know what you think.

I could have lived with the hologram displays and 'holodeck'. I just wish a
way could be found to edit out the annoying little kid.

I saw this at the Kennedy space center, and wasn't particularly impressed
then. Though it was significantly better than the rest of NASA's 'made for
two year olds' display, too much bad gimicky science was thrown in, along
with too much bad acting. And bad scripting. And bad CGI and...

I don't think anybody claimed this was a *good* movie. Just better
than any alternative, when it comes to portraying O'Neill-style space
colonies.
