I used to have a relatively junk free e-mail account but since I
posted my e-mail address on this site I get 200+ junk e-mails a day,
even with filters!

I checked the member section and almost everyone's address is
truncated, except mine. What option do you chose to get this
trunctation?

It may be too late, but maybe I can stop my junk mail from growing
to 400 a day:(

My sympathies. I've never been to the member section nor changed any
settings on the site, but I've avoided getting junkmail (other than what
some members post).

I've heard very good things about spam assassin. It cost money though...

I think there are reasonably good packages to filter mail under Linux,
but I think you have to run your own email server to get them to work.
