during the late Raygan era I read a rag put out by the Lyndon LaRoucheans detailing the Reagun starwars time-table for Mars colonization vs. the LaRouch plan, where they described a pulsed plasma-focus engine, that would take two weeks to get to Mars,but required energies beyond Terrestrial caps. in the same issue was an article on room temp. super-conductors using a more plentiful Lanthanide group element than the actinide group element that seemed to be the rage at the time (COBoYH) if memory serves, substituting Yttrium for a lanthanide, ..... am trying to find the article from the archives! prestonsmith@...
