This is a totally and completely trivial amount of pollution in comparison
with other human industrial activities. Sea Launch launches several
payloads per year. By contrast, thousands of ships are out on the ocean
at any one time, dumping their exhaust and bilge water into the
environment. Furthermore, Sea Launch uses all-liquid LOX/kerosene
engines, which are quite non-toxic when compared to other space launch
alternatives such as
Proton, which uses highly-toxic UDMH/NO4 propellants.
Other launchers that use solid rocket motors with their chlorine-laden
exhausts

The exhaust products are water and carbon dioxide.
Less harmful than car exhaust, or exhaust from commercial ships.
