Charles, thank your for the reply, I have changed my email address.
A lot of people forgot about the term "Lunarcrete" and other
important material(facts). I recall one MidWest Space Development
Corp(MSDC), Board meeting long ago that the prospect of loosing good
research or good material getting placed aside was high enough to
consider forming a space library. Some space pioneers would roll
over in their graves if they knew. Anyway, to answer your questions
and reply to your comments:
1. Lunacrete information can be found at: Beyer, Larry. Lunarcrete.

2. Yes "...neither Bill Gates nor his company Microsoft has ever
create chips..." Have you seen Bill Gates Finical Portfolio?, I know
enough about the company that if things work his way, we are about to
see a lot more than we can imagine. He has invested a tone of money
in other companies related to his business and a lot of them are none
disclosed to the public*. Also having closer access to zero G will
help develop chips that will have equalization of crystal lattice
growth which is a big issue in materials science and NASA along has
spent an enormous amounts of resources on it.
3. You write:
"...It is orders of magnitude easier to make structural materials
than to make semiconductor chips..."
It is not only about creating structures, it is about return on
profit. You may want to read my article which may help explain why I
mix the two subjects:

That is only one part of the process of making a chip.
The rest has to
be done on Earth.

NASA spends money on lots of dumb things.
How much money are commercial; chip manufacturers
investing in space or
lunar production of crytals and/or chips ?

You meant return on investment (not profit). Chip
manufature on Luna
will not compete with Terrestrial manufacture in any
predictable time
frame.

That link is broken.

What in the world does Whitewater have to do with chip
manufacture ?
=====
Joe, I see no basis in those references for your
claims that chip
manufacture on Luna would be profitable.

charles
until I can finish my paper that I will post on my web
community.
Your reply to "...Over in their graves if they
knew..."
Why ? Libraries are good.
No Charles, sorry for the misunderstanding, roll over
that the research would be lost and forgotten.
I asked, Have you seen Bill Gates Finical Portfolio?,
Your reply: Of course not, have you ?
Yes, not all of it, but what is public record and it
is interesting. I did that type of research when I
had a license to sale securities. He invested in some
very high tech. companies he called seed companies.
Some of the investments even had a high probability
of no return at all, however if the seed companies can
become very creative and turn that creativeness into
an innovation that will add in new or existing
technology, it will achieve great things for this
world, including the use of robotics for space.
Yes, return on investments, not profit. I was typing
the words but thinking of the concept.
The links and information was courtesy for the other
readers too.
On the subject of Lunacrete:
about two days ago I wrote ... "Very high
concentration is important to construction material.
Used in Lunacrete is one example. I have some current
finding not ready for publication which will be
published on,
>
"
Your reply was "...Hmm, I had not heard that before.
Let us know when you publish your paper..."
But you are now writing to tell me you know what
Lunacrete is, so I am not sure what you had never
heard before. The construction material? That can be
found in many SSI publications. That I am writing a
report? I had informed you of that months ago when I
asked you to consider joining my web community.
Just trying to be helpful

I was not aware that high concentration of Si was important for
Lunacrete.
You references do not help wit that.

Oh, one last thing my friend, you say
manufacture on Luna would be profitable."
Prior to the listing of references, they were classified about
resources, investments, and social impact. I never made a claim that
these references had anything to do with the direct methods, etc
with "Chip Manufacturing." I am not going to bore the audience with
that much detail, and I believe someone can see the investment
relationship.
Also, some of the references are about why the two subjects are
related in the terms of resources; recall the economic classes we had
to take to get a BS. I do not plan to make a debate about it over
the ssi link. Please feel free to email me directly instead.
Thank you

Ok, I see what part of information is lacking, I will
scan the related material on that detailed part pf
Lunarcrete and then ask the owner of this group if I
can upload it to the groups files.

You quote a bunch of irrelevant references.
I am simply asking you to substantiate your claims about chip
manufacturing.
You failed to do so.

Not interested in private correspondence on this..
Feel free to substantiate your claims in public. I think it would of
general interesting for you to do so.
