They say a good teacher tells you the answer, but a great teacher teaches
you how to find the answer. Try Google.com, and you will get, among other
hits, "Shuttle Buran History. The Russian Shuttle Buran ("Snowstorm" in
Russian) was authorized in 1976 in response to the United States' Space
Shuttle program. ...
Description: Short history of Buran and its fate after the Soviet government
ended the program.

Buran was launched and space tested on automatic. It never went to space
again...Soviets decommissioned much of space program.

There were several shuttles in construction mode and they were left in
various levels of completions.

A few mock ups were completed and were put on display or sold
internationally.
A while back one of the mockups was in Australia, and another was to be made
into a nightclub...without success.

The falling roof of a giant warehouse /hanger apparently destroyed one of
the few other completed models. It was another mock up and was given in
exchange for continued use of the Space launch facility.

Sad sad end to the most likely substitute for US Shuttles at hand.
