How does one do this? I have sent four messages to the egroups.com
address at the bottom of these messages. I have received four
confirmation messages that I have replied to. I still am on the list.
Could anyone tell me what's going on?

Thank you.

Once a spacenik, always a spacenik. (Does anybody think that Bob should be
excused?)

I've had a little bit of discussion with this list, where we've noted that
my 'politics of practical idealism' strongly support NASA funding to
implement solar power satellites. Tomorrow, I have a broadcast interview on
an unrelated topic, so this is sketchy -- but if anybody here wants to hear
me handle another political issue, China, they are welcome to listen via the
internet. At www.Meria.net, the show will be on at 1p.m. eastern, and that
web site will repeat the show on-demand through the next day.

To make this even more interesting and topical to this list, we should be
setting me up for broadcast interviews that go to the space issue. (It has
been many long years, but I used to speak out for a stronger space program,
and since I still have it, I can still swing it.) If you have an interest to
"beat the drums" about SPS, I would value hearing from you. I think I need a
volunteer booking agent / scheduler / handler, or perhaps to hook up with an
existing organization, like SSI, that would add a speaker.

I remain interested to move the ball, politically, but right now, my other
cause has a hot potato. This issue is "going large" first, for me. Why did a
half-million people jam the streets, marching in Hong Kong yesterday?
...Tune in to find out...

Cheers,

This is a very practical matter. There will be a domain name change and
a new email address. I don't want to flood the list with bounce
messages.

I think Dr. Case can attest to my enthusiasm about humanity's expansion
to the stars. I had a signature a long time along that stated "The meek
SHALL inherit the Earth. The rest of us are going to the stars!"

Here's my unofficial suggestion about unsubscribing. I happen to think that
the URL at the bottom of the page is wrong. (It says "egroups" rather than
"yahoogroups.")

I suggest an email to this address:

If that is sent from the same account that you want to remove, my hunch says
that will work. (I say unofficial, because I am not the list administrator.)

[As an I.T. consultant, that means superior computer geek...when I put
political advocacy aside...]

John,

Thanks. I'll give it a try.

Message Don't know if Bob ever got the chance to try the suggested unsubscribe address, but he was still a list member as of this morning. I went ahead and removed him from the list.
