Maybe, all we busy people, should develop a way of working, based on the
supercomputer model: we all do a little work in a network orientated
structure, where parts of the work is done by individuals, and the final
result is composed of this many small parts? If 200 people give 15 minutes
every day, it is 50 hours per day, 360 per week, 18250 per year = 760,5 days
effective work day and night every year!
Everyone can spend 15 in front of the computer, or by the phone every day
without experience this as waste of time or a stressful activity!
Best regards

Excellent idea Mark.
How do we get this done?
Hint, I have a paycheck to paycheck lifestyle ,
begin day
work
eat
sleep
go to begin day
end day
There are not enough hours in the day/week for me to do any lobbying.
We need retired folks or independently wealthy persons who have the
time to work on this.
Thanks,
Charles R.

discover which of the existing environmental advocacy groups already
out there is doing the best job on this issue, and help inform that

play in solving the problem. I would guess that the Natural
Resources Defense Council would be the best bet, though I could be
persuaded otherwise. Anyone have any comments on this?

A "simple lawyer" eh? Few lawyers have much in the way
of techno smarts, which doesn't prevent 98% of
congress from being run by lawyers. "Simple lawyers"
made it possible for the construction of mega projects
in the USA, from the railroads to Boulder Dam to, etc.
I hope "simple lawyers" can pave the way for the mega
projects of the 21st century, from major energy
supplies from space to high orbit cities/countries to
space based major manufacturing to,,, you get the
picture. We need lawyers to point us in the right(read
pragmatic) direction to accomplish our dreams.
Sierra Club. Good outfits we may be able to convince
on which side of the environmental issue space based
power resides.
Some of my best eco-friends wish me all the luck
getting space colonies built and loaded up with
people. One way to relieve stress on this old earths
ecology,,,
" Yeah, Gary, just leave and take a few billion with
you,,,"
Of course, billions may be unlikely, but one never
knows what the future will provide us in the way of
novel transportation.
Hmmm, maybe I'll write a letter to my
eco-newsgroups,,,
