committee on May 2007's conference. We are currently searching for
We are adding trade show type exhibits to the conference this year.
This is a change from past ISDC's that have had very little in the way
of exhibits. Since there is only space for about 30 exhibits, we would
like these exhibits to be very interesting as well as interactive,
informative, and dynamic. :-D Have you seen, heard of, or know of
things that are all ready exhibits or could be made into exhibits? It
doesn't matter if money exists to get the exhibit to Dallas, that is
another problem that can be solved. Part of our activity is to find
cosponsors for those who need help. This includes things that you would
like to see as exhibits but may not exist as such yet.
B. Speakers
This would include people who would draw a crowd for dinners and special
sessions or people who would just be interesting.
C. Sponsors
This is the business that provide the finances that make the conference
happen.

explains what is going on. It will be shifted over to the official site
soon.

Mike Combs SSI did a track on Space Settlement (chaired by Lee Valentine) at ISDC 2006. This worked very well. Consequently, SSIhas agreed to doa similar track at ISDC 2007.I think the paper you mention above would be a terrific addition. Other members of this list should also consider submitting papers. Note that SSI is currently planning to publish the Space Settlement oriented papers presented at ISDC 2006 and may well do the same for ISDC 2007.
