Very nice computer animation
Thought the folks on these maillists would have an interest in a discovery I made on YouTube. It's a computer animation of the inside of the Rama object from Clarke's "Rendezvous With Rama". But the animator, in seeking to convey the scale involved, decided to put in terrestrial features like office buildings, roads, trees, bridges, and rivers. (The series of structures the explorers dubbed "New York City" literally becomes New York.) Thus, I think it doubles nicely as a preview of what the interior of one of the larger types of space habitats might be like.

The animator is Eric Bruneton, and he has a page with a higher-resolution version of this video, along with stills and documentation on how he created this computer model.
