Kudos to all, and don't worry, be happy

I spend most of my time lurking and reading the posts to this site.
This isn't through lack of interest. It's just that so many of you ask
good questions and provide interesting responses that most of my
original thoughts are already covered by the time I'm ready to submit
a comment.

Regarding the question of zero-G living I think we should bear in mind
that Mankind is an evolutionary species, as are all living creatures.
It may be true that our initial forays into space will be somewhat
akin to fish exploring the continental land masses by driving around
in their own personalized aquariums. We know, though, that over eons
of time those same fish developed lungs, arms and legs to better adapt
to their surroundings.

There's no reason not to bring our own "aquariums" with us for the
foreseeable future. It's a natural consequence of the environment to
which we're adapted. One of the things that separate us from the fish
is our imagination to think of "aquariums" and our ability to build
them despite the enormous challenges they present.
