By-Pass the Moon?

Hi,

Methane Hydrate evaporation (or sublimation) may not
seem like mush yet but as the temperature rises it
will become increasingly important. The chain
reaction is based on time and CO2 concentrations.

It appears to me that since this methane hydrate
problem first appears 15 to 20 years ago (and probably
is irreversible), that 15 to 20 years ago we were
already to warm and had too much CO2 in the air! So
that would imply that to do much good we would have to
bring down CO3 levels to what, say 30 to 40 years
ago??? Good luck, the population has doubled, China
and India want cars instead of bicycles, and
industrial output has been rising. Even if we all
rode bike and lived spartan lifestyles, what about the
fuel to keep us warm in winter, to cook our food and
heat our water? No, I don't thing it is reversible
from anything we do here on earth.
