I can see high-g sports as a way of challenging people's strength and
reaction time. I doubt that anything over about half a g will be
preferred for any routine activities unless biology turns out to
require it. Higher acclerations will be encountered if tethers turn
out to be very good for accelerating payloads. Doing stuff in a high-
g tether transfer station will be their version of extreme sports,
and it will be useful for training for sports in lower gravity.

I think the sensations associated with weight have a fair amount of
appeal. Currently, weightlessness has all the novelty value. But we
have receptors that evolved to feel our own weight, in order to help
us be aware of our posture and movement. Denying those receptors any
stimulation is a bit like closing your eyes: it can heighten other
sensations, but you wouldn't want to do it permanently.
