Hi rehaulku,
world was full of pessimists like you, we'd all still be living in
caves. This particular group may be small, but all groups begin that
way. How do you know this group isn't going to be tomorrow's greatest
with many thousands? It doesn't take a lot to get there. In January 2000
I was President of the Europe-based Space Settlers' Society with around
100 members, I still am, but by March 2000 I was also Chairman of the
UK's Space Development Council, and that now has over 7,000 members. If
I can do it, so can this group.
There are indeed still many problems to be solved, but there are many
folk with skills who can and will solve them. If you begin by believing
everything is nothing but dreams like you do, you will get nowhere.
Best wishes, Andy Nimmo.
