SkyFarms

Mother and I were watching some show on the future since there was
nothing else worth watching at the time. One of the things they talked
about was this huge Skyscraper structure called a SkyFarm in which
cities would grow food within its interior to feed their populations.

Some bearded gentleman did a lot of talking. Said a hundred fifty of
them if built could supply food to the population of New York City. I
thought it was fascinating since its technowlogy would undoubtedly be
the same as that used in Space Islands to grow food for their people.

Does anybody know anything about this SkyFarm idea?
