Quatum entanglement and FTL

I wonder if somebody can explain me something about quantum mechanics
that I don't understand.

According to quantum mechanics and the Bell experiment, two photons can
get theirs quantum states entangled. If they are sent light years
appart and the quantum state of the first changes, immediately the
second will also change.

Now, according to Quantum Physic, and a theorem somewhere there,
quantum entanglement can't be used to send messages!!

My question is WHY.

Is there any way to bypass that theorem? Is there no scientist today
trying to trick a way out? It is definitive that quantum entanglement
is not usefull to trick nature?
