Real funding for the ISS ends in 2011. For those not paying attention,
that's just TWO YEARS FROM NOW.

Anyone here thought of a plan to extend it's use, either in that orbit,
or beyond, rather than allowing federal governments once again to let
hardware just plunge back into the burning atmosphere?

Can we salvage, or purchase the rights to extend the working life of
this marvelous construction?

After all, even though it's not a resource filled colonization point,
it does have some nifty hardware, and is a real part of space sciences.

Only serious micro-gravity settlers need apply.
