Playing Lunar Catch

It seems to me that mass-drivers could be used to not only throw things
off of the Moon, but to toss things from place to place on the Moon.
With no wind to blow anything off course, I should think it would be
possible to throw a hundred Kg (or later, a thousand) from, say, a
mining facility at the Eratosthenes crater (14.5 N, 11.3 W) to a
main base at Mare Tranquilitatis (say at 1 N, 25 E). This would
be a ballistic, suborbital trip.

I'm thinking that after being thrown by one mass-driver, the payload
could be caught by another mass-driver at the destination. Could this
be done with the accuracy needed?

Could even people travel this way?
