What nonsense! Biology is booming. Neuroscience even more so; it's
today where physics was 100 years ago -- i.e., thriving, extremely
active, accumulating a huge body of data, and coming up with coherent
theories that makes it all hang together. Those are the fields I know
best, but I think related fields (medicine, ecology, etc.) are all
making great progress too.
