I would be inclined to say that since if it involves Space COlonies and Space Island Habitats then it is worth discussing.

I think a Science Fiction series set in the near future around Space Island colonies would be great, something like Little House on the Praire perhaps. There has already been Mobile Suit Gundam and Babylon 5. Why not push a new series set with Space Colonies?

There is plenty of material with which to work with. A good drama. Plenty of real space adventure. Why not?

Problem is Hollywood likes to Jazz things up into Sci-Fi and mix in Aliens and all kinds of odd stuff. Maybe it is time to push on a return to the old Science Fiction and push a good story.
