Alex !!! Thank you for this beautiful tribute message to
Arthur C. Clarke. I notice Wikipedia site agrees
with you on his exact date of death (Mar 19,2008).
For some reason I heard it on my car radio Mar 18 coming
home from work. Difference must be due to International
Date Line between here & Sri Lanka?
I have this documented because I posted a message when
I got home on a site "Mars Mission Feasibility" & mentioned

Wanted to mention other man I admire most was named
Robert H. Goddard, anyone in group remember him?
The 100th anniversary of his Jan 14,1918 paper titled
"The Ultimate Migration" coming up in < 8 years!
All I'd like to say to them (Arthur or Robert) is:
