You say so, however, quizzing the public doesn't get those answers.
Aside from a very few futurists and singularitarians and such, most people consider the idea absurd and patently unappealing, and thats not going to change just because you imagine it will.

untrue, the robotics have been there for a long time and the neural code barrier was broken in most senses almost a decade ago.

No, because simple mind uploading is impossible, because mind is not so simple, its holographic and holotropic and turns out to be more than the sum of the neural circuitry.

In fact, nanotech biosynths will turn out to be feasible long before

Its a goofy paradox, but the more advanced science realities which seem further along than the science fictions are still science realities, not fictions.

You are selling us science fiction. I'm telling you whats going to be real.

Augmenting the human body will happen. Its already going on low tech and nanotech applications are only 30 years away or so. Living in machine bodies was always science fiction and will always be science fiction, because the human body is an awesome machine which we will stay psychologically attached to.

And because uploading a mind to a machine only duplicates the information, it does not change the location of the original mind.
