True, but that's not what's going on here. This is the well-understood
personal identity issue. You're making the crude assumption that
personal identity lies with the meat it's embedded in. You get away
with that assumption in the 20th and early-21st centuries because at
this time, the body and the person are always correlated. In the future
that won't be true, and the fallacy of that assumption will quickly
become obvious.
