huma-monkeys in space

Okay. You are certainly free to cyborg out and as many people as you can get to go with you, by all means, have fun.

99.9 percent of humanity won't go that route.

Real design considers the "money" and understands that all things considered, this is going to be space monkeys, and the real problems are keeping space monkeys happy and fit and clean and fed.

We don't leave behind the monkey. We do evolve with new technologies
and we do learn to manipulate genetic materials.

There is a difference between real futurism and science fiction.

As gung ho as you may be to "escape" the monkey business, that is what we are, and even uploading into a new machine body your still going to be a monkey mind in a machine apparatus.

I'm afraid theres no escaping it, there are ways to work around it as technology advances.

I won't stop you from cyborging out, but most people will feel attached to their own personal meat, and choose to stay attached to it.
