Asteroid captu or whatever

Okay: we have to change our paradigm regarding the funding. We did not solve it in the case of funding health care. In an earlier post, I suggested that the government facilitate the formation of cooperative(s) with independent board leadership--not government leadership or ownership--the membership/ownership of which is every person on earth, or every person in the US, I'm open to discussion. Those who physically go to space would have a differential, extra shares, ditto for innovations, with a procedure for private ownership (way down the road, doubtless, but there has to be a provision for people to get an asteroid of their own, right?). The government would lend the money for the initial investment.

It would be like a giant dam project, or a giant electrical project such as used to be owned by cooperatives back in the day. But we got into this 'private ownership' thing on the Republican side, and this 'government ownership' thing on the used-to-be Democratic side (their health care solution was pretty Republican, so it's hard to know how to describe them now). It's a stalemate.

If we could solve the funding/ownership dilemma, the rest of the questions are engineering.
