Low cost access to LEO is the first step. With the various commercial

initiatives that are just getting started we may be at the threshold of

starting to work in that direction. In order for this to work, however,

there will have to be an expanding market to serve. Space tourism and

solar power satelites are the most likely market sectors initially. I

don't know what research has been done regarding the processing and

fabrication of high value materials such as crystals or metal alloys

requiring micro-g environments. Have any papers been written on specific

products in this category?
