Awesome article, Stephenson seems to be the first author of his
generation to supply a convincing cultural/social explanation for what
is hapenning now.

I am not sure if I agree with him that that is a worldwide phenomenon,
though. He argues for instance the fact that China for now is just
doing what the US did 50 years ago, but I think that those are
necessary baby steps in order to achieve high flights....
