Thank you Brooks -- these are great ideas.
Per my last message, I don't know when/if I'll have time to write such a
game... but I will certainly keep it on my to-do list, and keep fleshing
out the concept until the day comes when I'm able to tackle it.
(Just to avoid confusion: in my last message I was proposing more of an
interactive visualization of a single colony, which is a much simpler
idea than a full-on civilization sim as we're discussing here.)
