New tidal-problem subset? (was Lightweight SSP dynamics due to the beam)

In the design you're considering, the solar collector/generator is attached to the microwave power transmitter? If yes, they would be connected in such a way that the transmitter could use its thrust to hold up the solar collector? And the solar collector would be rotated to continuously face the sun while that were happening? How would that work?

Maybe this should be considered a subset of the tidal problem.
