when you become a convert to a religion you automatically lose all objectivity, and begin basing your decisions on faith rather than logic. You fail to consider perfectly rational ways of approaching problems because you have blinders of one way thinking on. Your obsession with Julian Simon and his Biblehas caused you to completely abandon any approach to the future other than the one your savior proposes. I for one see nothing but a descent into an existence completely controlled and constrained by authority, basically an ant hill of humanity, with no freedom of action beyond the pale of the options allowed by authority because to allow such would be to allow randomity to the system, and to allow randomity to influence such a rigidly controlled environment would ultimately cause its collapse. A gigantic stewing mass of humanity, where individuality would HAVE to be strongly discouraged, in order to preserve the status quo, forced to eat recycled stuff, going to parks that are 150 floors down, after a generation or two, all would be agoraphobes, afraid of open spaces, because theyd never seen one. Its the exact opposite of what we of this group propose. The antithesis of what we strive for. Its the abandonment of personal freedom, individuality and free expression of the Human will. We propose the expansion of the Human Spirit, Community, and ultimately, Race, onward, ever outward in an explosion of Life and Sentience throughout the Galaxy and then the Universe. Not the packing of ever more pathetic downtrodden units into some kind of a biological closed loop from which Humanity could never escape. The whole vision you and Simon propose sickens me and makes me shudder in revulsion. Sorry, dude, but thats the way it is.
