Using a polar orbit around the Sun so that you are always the same distance to your source hopefully would remove most of the adjustment problems. You can even use your mirrors to 'propel' yourself to keep your angle since light pressure is already pressing on your mirrors.

Yeah, I'm curious on the limits the 'spreading' can handle?
