For an Island Three at L5, it would be on the order of billionths
of a Gee. No, it would not feel like being in a boat.
Radius = 6371e3 (Earth mean radius (m))
G = 6.67384e-11 (Gravitational constant (Nm2kg2))
StationRadius = 16e3 + 4e3 (Island Three = 8 km. diameter,
and separation radius of dual cylinders)
OrbitDistance = 35.786e3*1e3 (geostationary orbit (m))
GeeAtSurface = Mass * G / Sqr(Radius) = 9.8219273790 (N/kg)
Alt1 = OrbitDistance + Radius
Alt2 = Alt1 - StationRadius
Gee1 = G * Mass / Sqr(Alt1)
Gee2 = G * Mass / Sqr(Alt2)
Difference = (Gee2 - Gee1) / GeeAtSurface = 2.7085856411E-08
