I would agree that humans, and in particular men, have a flaw in our nature. Violence is almost entirely from men. Culture and law must do what it can to curtail this flaw. The cultural differences between Scandinavian countries and say Saudi Arabia and parts of the middle east are dramatic and disturbing and lead to very different outcomes of violence and coercion.

On colonies that discriminate based on sex, personally I would not live in a colony were women didn't have rights or had 'restructured rights' that put them unequal to men but if others wish to live like that I would not forcibly oppose it. I would say we very much disagree on many things politically but thankfully on humans moving into space we very much agree.
