Murder, rape, war, domestic violence, assault, etc. are the legacy of male violence. The rate at which human males, and interestingly our nearest male primate relatives the chimpanzee, gorilla, and orangutan, commit violent acts far exceeds almost any other animal species. The extension of this is 10 yr olds being married to 50 yr old men, honor killings, grandmothers being molested by teenage boys on the streets of Mumbai, girls banned from an education and forced to wear a sack when in public and then only with a male relative, etc. I dont think we need aggression to have ambition.
