The 100-300 meter NEA's might already be half found (was : Asteroid capture)

The 100-300 meter class is already close to being done. Speeding up by a factor of 100 would have essentially no effect on the completion date (practically-speaking, meaning 90% found) for that class. A recent press release from JPL says: "Findings indicate there are roughly 4,700 PHAs, plus or minus 1,500, with diameters larger than 330 feet (about 100 meters). So far, an estimated 20 to 30 percent of these objects have been found."

There are undoubtedly far more waiting to be discovered in the smaller size classes, however. Speeding up the discovery-rates of those might be helpful.
