Vertical cities anot impossible on Earth (was 4 mph speed-limits would)

Of course vertical cities are physically possible on Earth. However,
it is far easier to build a vertical city on the Moon. Way less need
for compressile strenght, much higher scale height allowing buildings
18 kilometers high with no repressurization through different levels,
way less energy to transport something from one height to another, and
so on.
