No, I mean that you won't yank stuff downward as quickly as you do on Earth.

That's one way to do it. There are others:

run the belts at full speed, EXCEPT where they yank stuff downward. Do THAT at 1/6 speed (and don't tell me belts can't speed up and slow down in specific spots, or I'll have to give examples of how that's done on Earth right now).
(sports car analogy: drive fast on the flats and slow down on the hills)

run the belts at full speed, but don't build those kinds of "hills" into the system.

put lids on the boxes. Then you can yank them down as quickly as you do on Earth.
(there really isn't a sports car analogy here, which is OK because boxes on conveyor belts on the Moon aren't sports cars on hilly roads)

Instead of clamping the boxes to the conveyor belt, ditch the boxes and use suction to hold the stuff itself to the conveyor belts.
(race car analogy: the fans used to create 'downforce')

I'm sure there are other and better ways to do it.
