Why wouldn't you have robots tow the asteroids to Earth, first? Asteroids too large for that to be safe could be towed to Venus, instead. In fact, Venus already has three asteroids quasi-orbiting it, so you could get started right away, and grab more asteroids as you consume your present supply.
