China may be the fastest growing electricity producer, but it isn't the
only one and 50 GW per year doesn't even come close to matching China's
annual increase (2006-07 +94 GW, 07-08 +81 GW, 08-09 +84 GW, 09-10 +97
GW) let alone the world's (2006-07 +174 GW, 07-08 +165 GW, 08-09 +201
GW, 09-10 +223 GW).

China is aiming to produce 6% of their electricity by Nuclear by 2020

If it was as cheap and easy as you make it out to be then they should be
aiming for a much higher percentage.

By the way where on that page did you find the 1.2c/kwh? as the only
mention I could see for that amount was against large
hydroelectric:other in China and is a levelised average cost of
producing electricity over the projected lifetime of the plant.

As for ISS, while there are lessons to be learned from ISS, the weight
and power provided by it's systems have no bearing on SPS as the designs
are completely different. Except perhaps if you consider that the total
mass of the integrated truss and solar panels could have been lifted on
one flight of the Saturn V instead of the 10 flights required (+ one
extra flight to relocate a section). That would have saved quite a few
billion in flight and construction costs.
