I don't necessarily agree with that. I enjoyed the movie, even though I
spotted the technical problems with it right away. The story is simple,
and based on some unrealistic orbital mechanics, but it was fun nonetheless.

There aren't actually wizards and witches in England who can shoot
spells out of their wands, but I enjoyed that story too.

For our purposes, the more disturbing thing to me is how the movie was
made. They didn't use a single parabolic ride, yet managed a very
convincing portrayal of microgravity. I'd like to think that we'll soon
have Hollywood studios renting out space on a Bigelow station for their
filming, but if they can do this well on Earth, then that business plan
may not work out.
