Far Future Horizons: Living, Loving and Dying in Space

Someday humanity will leave its planetary abode and will eventually embark
on the grand enterprise of humanizing the high and final frontier of space.
This will be a venture that will benefit humanity and transform it into a
multi-planetary species. As humankind expands its presence beyond the
confines of its single planet it will face high adventure, make new and
exciting discoveries and confront many new challenges and dangers.

The Cosmos beckons and we must heed its call and truly become a spacefaring
civilization and embark on a grand evolutionary step - the transformation of
our species, Homo Sapiens into Homo Stellaris. But, during this evolutionary
and cultural transformation it is my fondest hope that we retain at our core
a very unique quality that must always be prized - our capacity to love and
care for one another and bring new life in the void between the stars.
