Thank you for your reply and the information regarding
the two t.v. series.
My reference to 650 MB was just to give a concrete
start such as asking, "If you wanted to create a new
civilization and could only take three books, what
would they be?" If you had only 650 MB what would you
put on it?
I'm also interested in what can be done today not
decades from now using things like Holographic storage
in Lithium Niobate crystals etc.
I would consider 650 GB small by today's standards.
Also, while the tech may change, what will settlers
fall back on if some problem occurs with the high tech
gadgetry and/or the experts are ill? Maybe a few
vaccuum tubes and a computer expert system would come
in handy. Who knows?
