transportation in space settlements?

Walking, biking, and if you are in a real hurry -- a monorail? (Yes I know that's cliche but monorails are fun). It won't rain in a settlement, so how about electric wagons with comfortable seats and room for luggage/groceries? Or trolleys?

inside a space colony. One typical-sized colony is basically like a
small town -- somewhere on the order of 10,000 residents, say. Towns on
Earth of this size have a significant amount of land area dedicated to
cars (mainly roads and parking lots/structures).
But these are going to be modern, intentionally-designed cities, and it
seems somehow incongruent to imagine them packed with cars.
So, I've probably said too much already; I don't want to bias you all
too much. When you picture cities in space, what sort of transportation
options do you envision? How do people get to/from work, do their
shopping, go to sporting events, deliver bulk goods, etc.?
