High Frontier KickStarter announcement

I promise not to spam the list about this, but I do think this will be
of interest to many here, so I'm going to make this one announcement.

I've just launched a KickStarter campaign for High Frontier, the space
settlement simulation game.

On this page, you can watch a video where I explain more about the
project. But I doubt I need to explain to folks here why this is
important -- video games are a major (perhaps THE major) form of media
for reaching youths these days, and if successful, this game will spread
the idea of orbital settlements to millions of people who might have
never thought about it seriously before.

If you're familiar with Kerbal Space Program, then you may know how much
this has done to familiarize people around the world with orbital
mechanics and the basic challenges of spaceflight. High Frontier will
do the same for space colonization.

But to do this, we need your help. If we reach our funding goal, the
money will be used primarily to hire artists for the "inside the colony"
view this is the city simulation mode with buildings, monorails,
package delivery vehicles, trees, lakes, etc. If we don't reach our
funding goal, then nobody is charged and we get nothing (that's just how
KickStarter works).
