Good point, Mike. One thing I intend to avoid is the lame "space
fighter" idea. I mean, I get a kick out of it in Star Wars and such;
I can suspend my own disbelief. But it's just not scientifically
realistic to have little hyperspace ships that can maneuver in space
combat the way a fighter jet does in atmosphere. I'd probably have
carriers with space-to-air fighters.
